Andre spent his first year as a personal trainer at an LA Fitness earning a fourth of what he made as a banker. He then spent 2 years at Equinox in Manhattan. But he didn't truly feel at home in the fitness industry until he joined the team at CrossFit Union Square.
Surrounded by elite level athletes and coaches, André fine tuned his coaching skills and took his fitness to a new level. And the community of members made it a genuine pleasure to work and train there everyday.
In early 2016 André discovered an underserved Functional FItness populace in Downtown Jersey City. After 20 months of planning, negotiating, perseverance, he opened 150 Bay Fit in October 2017!
André lives in Jersey City with his wife Sinéad and their golden retriever daughters Hawley and Jersey.
