Bodybuilding has saved me, in many ways. It’s my meditation, it’s my stress relief, it’s my center. When describing my perfect day recently, it involved a 1.5hr session of bodybuilding (okay, maybe it said arms day). As long as my body and God will allow it, I will always lift weights and any health benefits it provides will be additional fruit, for the act itself is the only goal. I’ve discovered other beautiful workouts like martial arts, biking, and yoga, but bodybuilding will forever be my favorite.
